Glen grew up on a reserve and moved to Halifax when he was a teenager. He had trouble adjusting to the big city but eventually finished high school and later began working at the Micmac Friendship Centre.
In the early days Glen would only do parkour at night because he was worried what people would think if they saw him. Now he runs a popular program through the friendship center that gets all sorts of people out practicing parkour.
When I came out to film his group, Glen showed up late, pedaling his bike like he was being chased by a demon and sweating buckets. There was a quick handshake and he got right down to teaching. Several hours later we parted ways with a hug.
I made this video as part of my TV workshop at school. I hope to spend more time getting to know Glen and all the cool stuff he does, this guy loves life.
